Class Hours

SCHEDULE OF CLASS HOURS, ATTENDANCE, ABSENCE etc.

The day is divided into two sessions - one in the Forenoon and the other in the Afternoon. The forenoon session extends from 8.25 a.m. to 12.10 p.m.and the afternoon session from 12.40 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Except 2nd Saturday, all Saturdays will be a working day for Classes I to XII

The forenoon session commences with the school assembly at 8.50 am. The first bell in the morning would go at 8.30 a.m. for the school assembly. The students who absent themselves from the assembly without a valid leave letter or those who arrive later than the final bell for the assembly would be fined. The school gate would be closed at 8.25 a.m. Absence of children from class for mere social function is fully discouraged because it affects their studies..

In case of absence students must produce the leave letter on the very next day in the prescribed leave application form provided in the school Calendar.The students should attend the school without fail on the first day of each term after the long recess.

Late comers will be marked in the late comer's record.Parents will be held responsible if their wards are late to school more than twice in a month. House Points will be deducted for late comers.

VISITING HOURS

Parents are encouraged to visit the school to enquire about the progress of their wards and assist the management in the administration through their periodic evaluations and suggestions. Parents can meet the Principal / Headmistress on any working day from 8.30 a.m. to 8.45 a.m.Interviews could be held for any other genuine reason at any time with a prior appointment.

Parents are also allowed to consult the teachers after the class hours on all Fridays from 4.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

The students are not allowed to meet the parents or visitors or leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal / Headmistress.
