Rules & Regulations

1. Every student should bring the School Handbook and the prescribed books according to the time table daily.

2. Change of classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in order.

3. No books, newspapers, periodicals, comics other than textbooks, note books etc., are allowed inside the classroom.

4. Pupils must be in the classroom by the first bell.

5. Any exchange of articles or money transaction between students is forbidden inside the school campus.

6. The students are expected to talk in English at all times.

7. Attendance on important festivals and functions is compulsory.

8. Absenting oneself from class for mere social functions is fully discouraged as it affects the studies. Students from Classes LKG–VIII requiring leave for one day must get prior permission from the class teacher. If more than one day leave is required, prior permission should be got from the principal.

9. Students from Classes IX–XII should compulsorily get prior permission from the principal even if they require one day leave. In case of any emergency, the prescribed leave application form provided in the school calendar should be filled in and signed by the parent.

10. The students should attend the school without fail on the first day of each term after the long recess. Late comers will be marked in the late comer’s record. Parents will be held responsible if their wards are late to school more than twice in a month. House points will be deducted for late comers.

11. Minimum 85% of attendance is a must for promotion.

12. No money or gifts or compensation of any sort, individual or collective to the teachers or attendants is allowed without the consent of the Principal / Headmistress.

13. For the easiest access of purchasing uniforms, text and note books, the dealers are available in the campus.

14. Books are to be neatly covered and labelled. It is desirable to label all belongings including bags, boxes, water bottles etc.

15. No student will be allowed to sit for the terminal and final examination unless all dues are paid up-to-date.

16. Transfer Certificate will be given only to those who have fully settled their dues.

17. School Property should not be damaged. Any damage of school property will have to be compensated.

18. Students should switch off the fans and light while going out of the classroom.

19. No student will leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal / Headmistress.

20. Students should always behave in a gentle manner wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.

21. Unauthorized gathering of students against the management, institution or staff members is not allowed.

22. Pupils are not allowed to wear or bring valuable articles such as gold ornaments; wrist watches other than small earrings for girls.

23. Students are strictly warned against carrying mobile phones into the school campus. Students will not be permitted to drive two wheelers to and from school.

24. Wearing slippers to school is strictly forbidden (exempted during rainy season). Special attention must be paid to cleanliness of the hair, nails, teeth and shoes.

25. Maximum precautionary measures would be taken for the safety of every child. However, the school authorities will not be held responsible for any unavoidable accidents.

26. Proper numbers should be given to the office for SMS and wake up call.

27. Students are permitted to stay back after school hours, only if they are involved in Sports and Games, Co-curricular activities or remedial classes. Sports coaching class will be conducted for Classes III–IX in selected students ONLY. Timing 3.45–4.30 pm.

28. No tuition will be conducted in the school campus. Outside tuition centres are also not encouraged for the students.

29. Parents are strictly not allowed to enter the classroom during class hours.

30. Parents are requested to send their children neat and clean to school in full uniform and also always in time.

31. Students should be instructed by the parents not to touch others' properties, maintain a proper hair style and complete discipline.

32. Parents should avoid unnecessary comments about the school management and teachers in front of the students. Instead every other curricular or any other good message should be told to the student to build up a healthy spirit and positive attitude.

33. Parents are requested to sign their ward's hand book regularly.

34. Return of progress cards, remittance of school fee, van fee etc. are to be made on the specified dates.

35. Children are asked to bring their lunch along with them.

36. Parents should not send anyone else to take their wards during school hours. They should come personally and meet the Principal / Headmistress in case of an emergency.

37. When Parent-Teacher meetings are arranged, parents must attend them compulsorily without fail.
